Green gage mercurial boost two in one oscillating at high gain settings

So this is oscillating at higher gain settings. I incorporated an order switch so there is plenty of wiring in there. The oscillation stops when you play, and comes back when you stop. It almost seems like the whine from a fake charge pump. This is like #22 used from a batch from digikey so i doubt its that.

Mainly looking for suggestions of things to try to minimize it.

This is why I hate charge pumps…. Is it just the combo pedal or are there any other pedals with a charge pump in you chain?

If it’s the only CP you might get away with using a high freq pump like a Tc7660HCPA, and even that is kinda like a band-aid. There are some other things you could try like a buffered pedal in front of it.

Just the combo, i thought about pulling the charge pump. And just attaching pin 5 to ground and see if it goes away

Actually you have to have the boost cut way boosted too for it to do it. Maybe its just the nature of the beast
