Hi all first post here. Someone tripped over my friends GT - 100 power cable and snapped off the inside connection. I ordered a compatible centre positive power adaptor on Amazon. I want to cut off the end and solder it directly to the PCB. There’s a metal chassis/shroud where the power adaptor would normally plug in. It’s absorbing too much heat so I am unable to de-solder it. I’m going to solder the power supply directly to the board and then put a knot on the inside so that it can’t pull through. It looks like the “center positive” is on the 22 trace and the negative is on the 34. Do you agree? TIA
