Hammered light blue paint for enclosure?

so the base here is the brush-on rust-oleum hammered paint? does it adhere well to the enclosure surface?

Yep! Rust-oleum hammered. Adhesion seems fine so far, but I guess we'll find out. I don't think I've used primer on any of my pedal builds though

So I decorated the enclosure yesterday and sprayed it with clear coat just now: looks like I rushed things a bit. The paint kind of crinkled some, particularly where the hammered paint was thicker. I don't hate it, it's actually kind of cool, but it definitely looked better before I clear coated. Anyways, I'm still pretty happy with the result.

Yeah. Since Reeves released a blue version of a varation of this pedal earlier this year, don't get stuck on an overpriced discontinued can. I found Motip 04011. A Dutch example. Pretty sure other EU members have their own industrial / automotive brand to cover this color.
