Happy belated 4th of July?

Apologies for the upside down pic. I can’t get my phone to do it correctly. Anyway, I was born and raised in Italy but I live in Brooklyn. So this is how I celebrate my post 4th vacation day and also day without kids. Fried calzone in traditional Neapolitan fashion (the town where I was born). I hope all US folks had a great 4th!

That looks delicious. We have a supposedly authentic Neapolitan pizza place near us we go sometimes. I can't speak to it's authenticity but the pizzas are delicious and the mozzarellas you can choose from for a cheese plate are like nothing I've had before!

My wife and daughter and I went to out mother in laws house and had lunch. It was good to get out but the food was nothing to write home about (meatball sandwiches, from frozen meatballs! What an embarrassing thing to admit to an Italian!).

We had a really nice 4 day weekend and enjoyed the time off, so I can't complain. Got some pedal stuff done and cleaned a bit and relaxed. A guy could get used to this kind of thing.
