Is this the proper way to jumper a volume pot to max?

like Yeah!

Hi. I'm starting to change some stuff around in a circuit and i want to verify that i'm approaching this in a sane way.

I want to set a volume control to a given maximum volume permanently, while preserving what that control did to the signal path while at max volume.

reasoning: the circuit in question employs a fixed gain with an input volume pot on the last boost section, and i want to modify the circuit to be variable gain at the feedback loop for the last boost section instead, but i'm trying not to disturb what the previous section hands off to the last boost section

is pic related the proper way to do the change to the input path? thanks
