King nothing debugging

I haven't finished building this yet but the two pictured pad and showing connectivity on my DMM. Is this a problem and if so how can I fix it. The pads are really close but there is a tiny gap in the solder between the.

It looks like the potentiometer leg goes to ground as does the pictured resistor, r19, so I'm guess their should be continuity between them. Can anyone confirm for me?

The mounting pin of the potentiometer connects to ground and so too does one leg of R19.
It looks correct to me, they should both be connected to ground.
