WHELP!
Sweetwater was blowing these out for 70 bucks, so I couldn't help myself.
Just got it in the mail, and instead of plugging it in right away...I opened 'er up. Shows where my priorities lay.
Pretty cool...Dimension D's are stupid expensive. 70 bucks...even AION'S dimension C clone is more expensive to build.
BUT...a compromise was made. Seems they went with the more readily available V3207's instead of shivers new production MN3007's. Honestly, NBD BBD...I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference.
Build quality seems on point. The electrolytics aren't exactly top shelf, but those can always be replaced down the line. I always get a little twitchy when I see capXions...had plenty of those puff up on me in the past. The chassis is nice and solid, buttons feel good...I gotta say, I'm impressed.
