Kliche build - recommended socket components?

Have a Kliche board I wanted to use to play around with gain/tone on the Kliche

I’ve seen some mods posted, but just overall curious on the best places to use a socket for adjusting gain/tone.

I planned on C15 is it?

Sockets for the diodes of course.

Then the gain increase is a resistor, ok to socket that for different values as well?

Sorry if this is a duplicate, I saw the tone mod that adds more bass or wider control via the Treble knob, just wanted to see if there were other areas recommended to socket for exploration?

Got most of my components in today, the resistor you can modify is R10? I also see some references to lowering 560R - I may be mixing up the Klon circuit vs Kliche though

I decided to buy a breadboard to judge on mods. I found that most of the mods are less interesting for me. Like gain mods going too high or distort too much, but hardclipper mods were often quite useful.
Can't speak of Klon mods. I had Klon Clone with two independent pots instead of the dual pot, but didn't like the whole concept.

For tone, you could choose which bits you want to play with from Chuck's amalgamation of bass tweaks ...

I marked up a schematic for that, I suggest you do the same for the GAIN — compare schematics of various known Klon derivatives and mods.

For instance, the J Rockett Lenny is a fixed-gain Klone — (PedalPCB Lenora) — compare the Lenora schematic to the Kliché, etc...

Here's the Kliché Mini I mentioned I had marked up:
