Led resistor question

I’m fiddling around with my next enclosure design and I’m wanting to run 2 led’s instead of the one. Do I need to do anything with the value of the 4k7 resistor on the board?

You can use this to calculate what resistance to use. Just be aware that this assumes they're running in series.

Thank you. Question is it possible to run them in parallel? Just curious

If you want to run them in parallel, it would be better give them each their own resistor from 9v. Although it should work just putting the leds in parallel, you have more chance of them not being the same brightness.

Running them in series is technically better in this case I believe.

in any case, test it out on breadboard or alligator clips to make sure it’s the brightness you want.

Yep, if running in parallel just treat them as individuals and use whatever you'd normally use for your CLR's.
