Leprechaun sounds like delay fuzz

Hello everyone,

I just finished putting together the leprechaun and it sounds awful! I’m not exactly sure what to check next to get this working. A clean signal passes through the pedal with a slightly delayed distorted signal.

I suspect the fv-1 may be the problem so I checked the voltage and it all looks good. I built an audio probe and checked for audio coming in on pins 1 + 2, which they did, and I checked for audio out on pin 28, which it did, although distorted. Should this have some type of reverb sound?

The pots affect the distorted signal to a small degree so I’m hoping I won’t have to wire my spare fv-1 to fix it lol

I would clean that board with some 90% IPA and recheck those solder joints. Some of them look iffy, but that could just be the flux I'm seeing.

I would have a close look at all the FV-1 pins for any solder bridges.
