Leprechaun Wonky

Hey,
I posted about this a while back about how my Leprechaun had this tendency to work perfectly for about 15-20min and then in the midst of using it the effect suddenly drops and it’s just a clear guitar channel for the foreseeable future. Literally would have to put it aside for at least a few hours before the effect would come back. I assumed it was the electrolytics so I replaced all of them tonight.

So I turn it on and play it and it seems like things will be fine but then the effect cuts like usual. But then… it comes back. For a moment at least. And as I continue to play it’s randomly working or not working. It doesn’t fully disappear like it used to so maybe the ELs had some hand in it but clearly there is more afoot here. At this point it just randomly works when it feels like it. I wanted to post a short video but apparently the file size is too large even tho it’s like 10sec long. In any case the effect is very erratic and just comes in randomly for a brief moment. There is static in between as well.

Grounding? Faulty chip? Other caps to blame? I’m not the greatest troubleshooter but usually can figure it out eventually and don’t even really know where to start since what I thought was the culprit was not. 🤷🏼‍♂️
For the record the mini-amp works 100% fine, I use it to jam quietly all the time. I’m not adjusting the pedal at all either. Just set it high and strummed a few notes. So it’s basically just the pedal itself having some wild times….
