around the same time that I had the idea of doing the discrete opamp SD-1 with the Wilhelm Scream PCB, i also pondered similarly about the ST-9 and thought

what if,
instead of having an ST-9 based around the TS-808/TS-9, why not build one based around Boss SD-1 values instead?

initial breadboard results, fantastic. big fan.
comparably, to me, it made the og ST-9 appear somewhat boxy and inferior. hell yeah.
so i made some adjustments so that it would work on an AionFX Cirrus board.
another deviation - technically for a ‘true SD-1’ spec, C5 should be 18n. i felt it was too small/thin coming after the mid boost stage so i bumped it up to 100n (stock value = 1u).

here's a 1st for me:
top mount open frame jacks in a 1590B. (a happy coincidence that they just happened to fit after drilling for what i would normally use)

here’s a demo comparing this vs. ST-9pro+
(again on the Normal/crunch channel instead of OD/lead channel for more enhanced boosting effect)

For some reason your band costume makes me feel all sleepy tired. But the pedal sounds great! I really like those sand texture colours too.
