Microphone/XLR effects loop project?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has encountered a workalike DIY project for something like the radial voco-loco / cusack pedal cracker / eventide mixing link?

ie, an XLR in/out box with a bypass switch and a guitar-pedal-friendly effects loop.

I dug around a bit in the usual spots and couldn't find anything on first glance. Thanks in advance!

Here is Rev 2 of my looper box. This includes a THAT mic pre in front. Upon first firing this didn't work but after digging more on the diyaudio forum I found someone doing the same project as this one, and doing it in an easier way so I may make my way to a rev 3 with more features
