Well I will just come out and say it. How musical is it? Not very much in my hands, lol. I will admit it’s a cool noisemaker and have fun playing with it though. If you are a tone purist look elsewhere. It’s loud and rough, glitchy etc.. It falls in the area of synth like. It reminds me of something you would get from parasit studio. Not a bad thing but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. @MichaelW sent it so I had to build it, lol. The build is straight forward but It’s pretty compact so take your time. I use a hot plate so the smd was the easy part. I recommend using a trimmit board and installing a master volume on the output. It’s on the big heterodyne schematic and not in the mini. I just used a 100k trimpot and left it at 50%. It’s plenty loud. I will post pics of the finished inside later. There is also no logic to the knobs I used. I just grabbed what I had loose in the knob bin that needed to be used.

I really like these honest reviews. Not every circuit we build works for our needs, unfortunately. Sometimes its just cool to get some iron time.
Lol. It’s fun to play with. Now it’s definitely more of a solo thing. If you showed up and played this at band practice they would look at you like you were on the crack pipe. But as you said its nice to have the iron time.
