Modding the Cujo fuzz

I've built the Cujo fuzz before and really like it, but I was wondering is there any way to have potentiometers replace the treble boost and fat switch so you're left with an almost eq on the pedal with the mids pot already there.

I have some ideas you could try, I can’t promise they are good ideas but they are ideas.

The eq section looks like it’s basically a fender bassman tone stack with fixed values for the treble pot and that’s your treble switch so I believe you could replace your network with a pot if you figured out what an appropriate value would be.

The fat switch is a bit trickier but it looks like it’s bypassing the 22n that’s in series with the 1uf and I believe you may be able to replace that with something like the input capacitor blender on a deluxe meathead or lovepedal silicon fuzz master.

i'd like to remove a lot more top end since i find the circuit to be way too bright and fizzy. any ideas?

it might help but the distortion doesn't sound right to me either. at least not like the online demos.
