Muffinator Fuzz Spdt switches ?

I was just making sure i used two SPDT ON/OFF/ON was that what this schematic calls for? I know germanium diodes when used will have a little volume drop but when I have the switch all the way down on either side there’s a really big volume drop.. I was just wondering if that’s normal?

Yes, ON/OFF/ON unless you don't want the "No Clipping Diodes" option in the center position.

Center position should be the loudest of them all, but yes, a germanium option will likely give lower volume than most other types. (assuming typical germanium forward voltages)

I figured it just feels like more lower volume than normal maybe because there’s two sets of switches it’s twice as low… thanks for clarifying this for me Robert. I figured it’s normal just had to make sure I socketed One side of the GE DIODES so I may try a other set or put another set of si in but it’s a great sounding pedal.
