So this was my 6th Camp at Three Of a Perfect Pair Camp. This is the one with Adrian Belew, Tony Levin and Pat Mastellotto as our hosts with also Markus Reuter (Stick Men) Julie Slick (Adrian Belew Power Trio) and Trey Gunn (King Crimson).

On the first 3 nights, we play planned songs with hosts (yes I played with all 3 many times now!) and for the last 3 years, even my girlfriend joined me on a song. This year it was Walking on The Moon by The Police.

My "with host song" was with Pat on drums for Fripp & David Sylvian's Wave. Pat was the drummer on the 1992 live version of the song so playing Fripp-wannabe was quite special.

Here's my almost 100% PedalPCB board for that week:

From right to left:
Golgotha: Delegate Compressor (Boneyard Edition)
Ultisol
Ms. Pinky: Zapper
[redacted] (no point in making a volume pedal PCB, right?
Chorus: Ceasar Chorus
Flight Delayed: Arachnid FV-1 with custom EEPROM and FV-1 Clock Module

I had tremendous fun. People told me I nailed the Zappa tone for Po-Jama People (the secret being the Zapper).

Here's me on SG, Wolfgan (vox) and Pat:

I forgot to say that hosts signed my pedals !

Adrian got the Zapper/Ms. Pinky, since he was discovered by Frank Zappa.
Tony got the compressor (every bassist got one)
Pat got a delay because... well, he's a drummer?

When I handed the compressor, Tony said: "Oh, thank you very much". He signed and gave it back. A true gentleman.

That's not how it works!

You got the order all wrong: Camp then schedule...

How would any one on Earth think that "The best week of the year™" is surpassed by something more important? 😝
Well it’s conflicts with the one thing that would set my degree back a full year (many of the classes I’m in are only offered in the fall semesters, and are necessary for classes I need to take in the spring) when I’m already multiple years behind schedule, so… 😂
