Got the piggyback FZ-1 boarded up. Sounds like a fuzz. Water is wet.
The schematic I grabbed was easy to follow, except for the biasing (i think that's what the voltages at certain junctions are) wasn't matching up, so I just did it by ear.
Went with two MPS5131s to get in the high 80s (per the schematic) and two 2N3904s to get me just about 140 for the second piggyback.
Overall I was expecting something utterly garbo, but it's not bad. I'm sure the piggybacking isn't completely the same as og, but it's cool to know it works like it should.
