What do you think of the specular tempus? I was very close to buying one last year but went for a source audio collider instead.
It’s such a great pedal. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The reverbs are really good and the delays are also great. Unlike the collider you can’t use a delay and reverb at the same time unless it’s one of the combo algorithms which are actually totally useable. In my current setup it’s paired with a keeley hydra which is perfect for running the delays from the Tempus into it.

It has so much going for it though. Size is small and power consumption is 100ma. I built a little triple switch for it which I use to bank up and down and also tap tempo but it’s also got midi.

A lot of people don’t like the delays or at least don’t use it for them much but I recently bought a keeley halo which has some really great sounding delays namely the Halo Andy Timmons sound, the tape echo and the slapback. I was able to create the exact same delays in my Specular Tempus and A/B them. I returned the Halo the following day. I even have a really serviceable analog delay preset.

On the reverb side, the big hitters are the plate (amazing plate), Spatium (Huge modulated verb like strymon cloud) and the room reverb is killer especially in stereo. But by far the coolest thing about the Tempus is how awesome the shimmer verb is. I usually hate shimmer and this one is just different it’s hard to describe. I run it into a really diffuse plate on the keeley hydra and it’s heavenly. I’ll post a video in another thread at some point.

If you start considering it, I can make more clips and if you buy it I can bundle up all my presets and send them.

It will be quite a while before I can justify buying myself any pedals unfortunately. I've still got the collider and my hx stomp for delays/verbs etc. The specular tempus does look cool though and I love the form factor. Also your board looks excellent 👍😎
