It's doom metal Slayer covers by a supergroup consisting of members of Fu Manchu, Monolord, Year of the Cobra, Kylesa, Lowrider and Kyuss. I've been meaning to listen to this since it came out but never got around to it until today. Unbelievably heavy shit

I legitimately loved Reinhold Messner when it came out and still think it’s a good listen. But I was a teenager at the time and didn’t read reviews! Either way, I’ve always thought playing in BFF must’ve been a lot of fun.

I went through a big Mojo Nixon phase in college and I don't think I knew anyone who could stand him. I think that may have been one of the things that drew me to him in the first place, though, and I'm pretty sure that was at least part of what he was trying to do 😂

 
I became aware of Fuensanta seeing her doing silly dances with Louis Cole in this video.

So i looked into her and she has quite a voice and an writes some interesting tunes. I wasn't expecting Louis Cole to appear on her gig so that's fun too. Dude's got range.

When I rode my motorcycle from Toronto to Vancouver over the course of ten days, I listened to the One Day as a Lion EP every morning.
And if you have a Rhodes, run it into some fuzz!
That Khruangbin song made me think International.
