This was a total impulse buy. I bought a regular Shigeharu a couple months ago and absolutely love it. I know they did a germanium edition in the past that was limited. I saw the email announcing this one and immediately bought it.
Curious to see how different they sound. According to the video from Caroline, they made some small changes to the gain structure and the germanium diodes are for the octave fuzz circuit. The claim is that the octave up sound is different.
I’ll shoot them out and likely sell one. Probably post a FS thread at some point.
