New pedal day!
As usual my phone won’t upload photos with the right orientation, but that shouldn’t distract from this awesome pedal! It sounds ace, very tweakable and the dynamic speed is really cool especially for rhythm parts. Highly recommended.

Very cool! So it has an envelope in it for the speed?

Correct. You can go from speed 1 to 2 with the envelope. Very fun! Or you can use the foot switch to flip between the two speeds.

So it turns out this one was a lemon. The second time I plugged it in, it was basically dead. The sensitivity led always on, barely any signal going through, very quiet and highly distorted. That was a huge bummer.

Reverb gave me a full refund without requiring to send the pedal back, so now I’m wondering if I should open it up and try to fix it. My guess is a power issue. But I’m not sure I want to mess with smd.

Definitely nothing to lose! Is it all analog or are there any digital parts to it? I don’t know much about any of the fender pedals.

Haven’t had time to open this pedal up but I did talk to the Fender licensed tech in Brooklyn. $50 for every half hour of repair work! That was really surprising. I also happened to have a Carbon Copy malfunctioning (I am cursed) and service is a flat $75 fee, which is about the price of a used CC, which seems a bit more fair to me.
