Nucleus small eyelets?

I’m wondering about the small eyelets/holes in the Nucleus. The traces appear connected and serve some function. Should these be used? There are 2 small points under the IC, and before I socket over this area, I want to make sure what to do. Thanks for any help!

Those are vias, they connect the top and bottom layer traces.

You don't have to do anything, just ignore them.
