Ocelot Sub Solo

Hello everyone! I have an Ocelot PCB waiting to get assembled and I’m looking for some guidance on a couple of mods I want to do once the components are delivered.

Mod #1: remove/exclude OCT2. Like many who I suspect are interested in this build, I’m a bass player with no use for OCT2. I’d like to exclude it from the circuit. Can anyone tell me how to build the circuit to not include OCT2?

Mod #2: I’d love to be able to add a momentary switch that, when stepped on, kills the dry signal and solos the OCT1 sub signal. Can this be done?

Thank you in advance, so much, to anyone who might be able to help me out! I’m still pretty new to pedal building, having only built 10 pedals or so, several of them from kits. I’ve learned a lot already, but still have so much more to learn.

Okay, I MIGHT have just figured something out for Mod #2.. on my OC2 I just soldered a wire to my middle lug (apparently called the “wiper”? Weird.) on the Direct Out pot and then soldered another wire to ground. When I touch the ends together (like stepping on a normally open momentary SPST footswitch), it kills my dry signal and solos OCT1.

Would this same approach work on the Ocelot? Any reason I shouldn’t just do this? Or is there a better way? Thanks again!
