Octagon Build

Built this last winter, but just discovered this forum, so here are some pics. Still have it on my board, but as I need a nice reverb more than the modulation and delay stuff, I'm going to be swapping out the EEPROM with the Spacialist soon. Have to say that this was a super fun build. The PCB was laid out really, really well.

Nice! I started with an Octagon too and have since experimented with a few different EEPROMs---so many possibilities.

Yeah, my original goal was to take my day job software development skills and start learning DSP to write my own patches, but life has been too busy the last year. Hoping I will find some time to dabble this fall.

I've only messed with SpinCAD. I was once a front end dev, but this is all a bit over my head at the moment. Hopefully you have more luck

Oh man, the hex code befuddles me, and the SpinCAD gui feels a little clunky, but I think there is a Java-based framework out there that I might look into.
