OD-2 Mod Recommendations

Hey everyone

I recently picked up a "intermittently malfunctioning" OD-2. My assumption is, based on the serial number, that it's a ACA spec'd power supply pedal. Gonna first jump D1 and R2 to get it to PSA standard to see if that fixes the malfunction problem.

My primary question regards the Turbo mode. If i'm crafty enough, my dream would be to add an easier access point and fast engagement. My hope is to take the turbo knob and port it over to a latching switch somewhere. Anyone have thoughts about this?

The "intermittently malfunctioning" reminded me of when I bought a HF-2 that was supposed to be working perfectly. I could've got a partial refund or something but I just fixed and didn't mention it since I just had to reflow some joints. I don't have any mod recommendations but wanted to share this. Pads were still intact on the board but somehow this happened to the solder joints. Hopefully your od2 is a quick simple fix.

UPDATE:

I've gone ahead and done a loooot of work to the thing, but am pretty much treading water at the moment.

What's been done

+ New electrolytics on the whole board to make sure it's up to date
+ The list of Wampler recommended mods is being worked through. Waiting for Germ Diodes to get here before i swap those, but everything on their list is otherwise done.
+ Drilled out enclosure for a switch to be added, but am having some issues getting it to work in replacement of the turbo switch. Picked up a on/on 4PDT toggle and the cables run in a row to coordinating poles, one attempt to a single row on the side and the middle row, another attempt at both sides of the middle row. The switch doesn't seem to be engaging anything now, and theres a discernible amount of noise present. Can't seem to find any information on what Boss used for the Turbo toggles on the web. Maybe someone here has poked one with a multimeter before...?

I'll keep posting updates. Hopefully someone here has info on the kind of switch work i need to do to get the toggle to work.
