old ceramic caps?

the other day i asked a question about tantalum vs aluminum electrolytic capacitors on another thread, and it made me think of this grab bag of generic old ceramic caps that i picked up from radio shack over 20 years ago. i’m wondering if these are worth using, or should i just go with the mlcc ones that seem more prominent these days? any hard pros/cons other than the pro that i already have them?

Old ceramics will be handy for fuzzes and things where you might not always want "pristine". Skreddy often uses a lot of old ceramics in various pedals specifically for the tone. It would make an interesting experiment to try building a pedal you are familiar with using as many old ceramic caps as possible and see if you can hear the difference.
