I made so many mistakes building the stripboard, These not only included a solder bridge and having to remove a cap in the wrong place, but I had to rip out a board-mounted potentiometer - all 3 pins - that were in the wrong spot as well (don't do detail work at 2am, kids). Some of the track came off with it - luckily all fixable.
And you'd never know all the dumb shit I did on this one. Everything came together better than I could have hoped. @bean 's 1590a paper template was perfect for all the parts to just touch.
Its simply finished with Duplicolor clear - which I found at almost 5x the cost of Krylon lacquer, it works 10x better.
Timing what it is, by coincidence, the wiring honors Memorial Day....
And it sounds fantastic.
