Hi! Been playing a "Kilt" the last 6 month using a Kemper as an amp. with the Kemper it seemed to work nicely, a bit loud but nice otherwise. I recently switched over to running a Walrus ACS-1 on my board and now the kilt is completely useless. No matter how i tweak it its either WAY to loud or almost clean. I tried using a external volume control so that i could crank the gain on the pedal, but all it seems to do is affect volume as i get no gain when i turn down the external volume control.
How does this work? Is my pedal faulty or is it supposed to not do any distortion and just push the amp?
