Parasit Studio Salad Days Ringmod. Edit fixed the demo link.
I built this for a fun effect.
Two triangle oscillators 90 degrees out of phase to modulate both amplitude and freq, producing a bell like ring mod tone.
Turn the drive up for OD, FM for ringmod, AM for tremolo. Fun pedal to mix in with other effects. Turn up the drive and the blend ccw for an od pedal.
I really like the ringmod sound, not harsh at all, however there it a bit of high freq u undertone leakage at the higher carrier wave freq settings. The tremolo it actually useful, the blend affects the waveform, and at the highest freq setting sounds like a pseudo ringmod.
It blends well with dirt pedals, sounds great before reverb/delay.
It really is a salad day kind of pedal, it's fun, can add a twist to your sound, make silly fun sounds.
