Parentheses clipping mod w/jumper?

I’m interested in doing the Parentheses with the clipping options being ge/op/si on a three way switch. If I put a jumper wire in place of the LED(D4), and Ge Diodes in D3 and D5 would that work? Alternatively could I socket D3,D4, and D5 to leave open the possibility of using it in its original configuration and this mod? Still utilizing a jumper in the socket for the Ge option.

That's correct, jumpering D4 and replacing D3 and D5 with germanium diodes would make that setting symmetrical GE clipping (one GE diode in each direction).
