PCBguitarmania recommendations?

I no longer recommend the Nordic metal. While using it yesterday, it took a shit on me. After pulling it apart and seeing what could have went wrong I couldn't find any visual ques, after all this has been a working build for quite some time now. But the second half of IC 2 is now all connected to ground, as well as all the components connected to that half of the opamp. It makes zero sense how this could happen. Perhaps a bad trace under the solder mask? Piss poor routing? All I know is I'm irritated and ordered the GCI board and and going to build their version. So the Nordic metal V2 will be something to look for soon

I was just looking at GCI last night. They have a few new boards i think. I dont remember seeing the "gorilla glasses" or hm-1 last time i was looking at their site. I love every GCI build i've done. I bought the "a-team" bundle and the socialist jr and they all kick ass. they have their own flavor added to the original circuits they are meant to emulate.

The N.E.W. Bass OD I built recently impressed me so much that I went back and ordered the bass brutalist and N.E.W. CTG. I wanted more N.E.W. but I'm also curious about Ballou's own circuits. I threw in the mojo buzzaround since I've done the elka dizzy on a ppcb Gnat thing but never a proper buzzaround. Just when my queue started to look reasonable too.

The new bass overdrive was great so I figured this should be a no brainer. This one has only two mods really, the clipping switches. I opted to ditch them and do the circuit dead stock. Hopefully the pcb I ordered this weekend gets here sooner than the last one took, 3 weeks 😂 (they were on tour🤷). Kinda bummed tayda is out of 1590BB2 boxes because that means I can't order a UV print. I made a surrogate home until I can order from Tayda. Thank goodness I can still do a no film💅 mock-up: PXL_20230730_202035037~2.jpg
