Anybody here old enough to remember the old Peavey EDI boxes. It patches btw the amp and speaker to feed a balanced line level signal to a mixing board in lieu of mic'ing the amp. I still have one sitting around and wondered if (for such an incredibly cheap and simple device) it can do a decent job of replicating the newer, higher dollar load boxes on the market today.

I have the schematic for this one ... Funilly enough I contacted Peavey customer service to ask for the schematic of their EDB-1 and the guy on the other end of the line told me that's the closest match to what I was looking for.

Yup, that's me sharing the EDB-1 schematic from the unit I traced.
