Barely any parts and the end result is a very nice sounding fuzz. The bias trimmer be damned I played this things straight on the PPCB platform and it performed. It can get tight and loose. Easy to work with the board layout and no obscure parts. I did order the BC550C because I only had the BC550Bs on hand. I used a ball silver Tayda 125b enclosure, Switchcraft jacks, a blue 5mm LED and orange tall thin knobs. For graphics I used 1/2 inch vinyl letters and a I used a brother labelmaker to make the control labels.

If you were thinking of making one of these I think the ROI (time, money, components) is good. This would also be a good project for someone starting out. I probably could have fit it in a 1590b but I love the ball silver enclosure.
