For this build I decided on Taiway short bat switches with black switch covers, anodized black knobs, a red led, and a pink enclosure. When I think of Chorus I think blue, overdrive green, phaser orange, flanger yellow, delay pink. I love using the PedalPCB faceplates on the top and for the top jacks for a professional look. FYI: I put on three sets of knobs before deciding on a blacked out Hydra. I tried purple and aluminum before deciding on the 15mm black anodized knobs. I used a red LED with a flatter bezel and Lumberg jacks

Now for the build. Relatively simple to build. I did mix up my EEPROMs for all of my boards but this one I had in a recent order and it works. I would say it is is a bit tricky to get all of these controls through the holes in your enclosure and faceplate. You may need some regiggering, and then there is very little room for the footswitch. Somehow it all fits. This was my first time soldering in an FV-1 and it was not difficult. I used the flux, tin two legs and slide the iron method. Slightly bent one of the pins and then straightened it out on the fly. As far as ease of build, I just switched all of my resistors to 1/4 and this pedal calls for 1/8th! Makes it trickier with the 1/4s being a bit two big but I got them in. My first time using a crystal also- and I was thinking about Tesla who said crystals are living beings... and I wondered if it was right to entomb this being in my enclosure

The pedal was put on the PedalPCB Auditorium platform before boxing and it worked flawlessly the first time. After playing with it a while I can see why people like it. It is fairly simple to put it together and it has a plethora of functions. Being a traditionalist, I like using this with toggle two up and all others down. You can get some crazy sounds out of this pedal and you have quite a bit of control. I do not think the build is difficult. I can dig it.
