PedalPCB Rockstar Distortion (Columbo Rocker 83)

After waiting for USPS for over a week and 4 projects on hold waiting for parts I finally managed to find a project I had everything for!

This is the Rocker 83 by Columbo Audio meant to sound like the old Rockman. I must say he did a great job it nails the tone. I never even noticed the almost mid heavy cocked wah sound of it until now. It’s not overbearing but it is THAT sound. I think it looks great with my old Fiesta Red Strat!

Oh yea, I used a new solder for this project. I used the Quik Chip over my regular Kester and quit liked it. Ironically I used to use Kester flux as well but switch to Qwik Chip because it’s alot less messy!

Nice! Have you had a chance to play it with chorus?

Hehe the first thing my buddy asked me when I showed it to him was “does it have chorus”?

I’m an Gilmour fan so I’ve tried it with all modulation. But yea with chorus and delay it’s certainly that sound imo

I’m ready for “The Second One” board to come in! I think Columbo and LPD are making the best AIAB pedals to date. Of course that’s subjective.
