Pedals I have built

It’s been a journey of learning but I’m super glad I finally decided to give this a shot.

My first build was a Sproing Reverb. It went together reasonably well, but I ran into some classic newb in/out jack wiring issues and I ended up screwing up the led tabs on the pcb. Wired the led directly to the switch and 9v and it worked. Messy soldering, lots of unintentional grounding, but I sorted it out. The rest went together with minimal issues. A couple required some minor disassembly and resoldering of some components.

The Sunflower fuzz (yellow knobs) was the first pedal where I had to bias a transistor so once I sorted that out and the clean trim inside it sounds great.

Top row: Desolate Fuzz, Titania2
Bottom row: Bellum Mk II, Percolation station.

On bench I have an Aion Percolator and a King of Nothing, but I keep ordering the wrong parts for these…

One thing to add: I like Hammond enclosures; the texture is a bit smoother than the run of the mill enclosures I have bought, despite all doing their job the same. I also want to get into acid etching the enclosures or getting some sort of graphics on them. Thats a side project however. I also really like "vintage" styled knobs, Davies, RCA etc...

…unless you accidentally go through that one door, down in the sub-basement…where the guy who does the Build Docs is…near the room where the giant fire puffer works…that door will lock on the other side, and you’ll have to go around to the main entrance…
