Pendulum harmonic tremolo r11/r12

So i finally pulled this board out and saw the gotcha resistors. 2M7 (just when you think you have every used value on hand lol).

So anyways these appear to be a voltage divider. I could easily do a series thing but I always that. I was thinking id just shove a 2m2 or 3m3 there, but i can’t help but think that particular odd ball value was chosen for a reason. ( Especially since i think this is a robert designed circuit so i doubt its a we had a crap ton of this value to use) Be it current limiting or impedance. Any one know for sure if subbing it would be of any significance.

Thx.

Those resistors are used to shape the waveform in the particular way @Robert designed it. You can always teepee a 2.2M and a 470/510/560k in series to get it to the finish line, it’s worth it.
