This one I just wrapped up yesterday.
After reading @Fingolfen 's build report it got me interested in this pedal. I'm always interested in anything associated with David Gilmour.
I built the Germanium II first and was a bit underwhelmed by how dark it was.
The Polonium is a whole nuther animal. In essence it's a glorified Big Muff (with 3x the components hahaha)
But it's also got its own thing going on. Definitely getting some of the later Gilmour sounds out of it. It's also pretty dark but in a good way.
I used my Telefunken BC239's in it instead of the 549C's the BOM calls for so my version probably sounds a little bit different than stock.
My 239's a "B" gain range and a bit lower HFE than the 549C's.
I'm still dialing it in trying to find the right combination of amp settings, guitar and boost and such. Once I figure that out, I'll post a demo of it.
