Does anyone here use spade connectors, like the kind you can find at a auto store for their pots?

I only use PCB mounted pots anymore.

If you’re talking about this kind, fill the holes with solder first then reheat one and slide your wire through.

I agree with both @Guardians of the analog and @KR Sound on this. I get the temptation, but truuuusssst me. Ain’t gonna cut it. Not long term.

Maybe you can get the thick gauge ground wire and "create" a PCB pins.
Another is to get same thick gauge wire (solid or stranded) and just wire it up normal.

Why not just use pcb mount pots
