Going to go 5/5 on this, even though I had issues with parts - mainly caps a smidge too tall and then the 1uF SMD were fragile.
I don’t have knobs yet, but wanted to post this for people building this to have a reference for internals. Robert has a great knack for having everything lined up neatly so that even an idiot like me can drill fairly square and make it look professional-adjacent.
I used lovemyswitches powder coat drop in the UV pink. It’s awesome. I used the laser engraver at work to engrave Snagglpuss. I had tape over it thinking it would engrave deeper. It was only surface, so I filled with a bit of black acrylic paint. Looks nice, simple, and clean.
Sound? Awesome. Getting the lamp correct takes time. You can’t go too wrong: you have to find what you like. Going to compare it to my Spiralizer in 1590A from Mr. Schutone.
