I built a PPCB Nobels and it sounded terrific. Sent it to my friend in Nashville and he was effusive in his praise. Anyway... today I began building another and I noticed that I had put a 33uf in C21 of my friend's pedal - - where a 3u3 EC should have been. The one I built today has the correct 3u3 in C21 and it also sounds great; very loud with great overdrive.

My question is what is the expected or possible effect on the signal after putting a 33u in C21? I remember that the one I sent my friend sounded fantastic, but so does the one with the 3u3 in C21.

.32Hz vs .032Hz high pass filter
A 33n there would give you a 33Hz HPF, which may actually be useful.
Otherwise it's just blocking DC and contributing to output impedance.
