Project x Parts spreadsheet

Hello all,

Here is a small tool I hope some of you will find useful.

It is a Google Sheets that will allow you to enter quantities of parts needed for each build.
Then you just check the boxes of projects you want to order parts for and it will populate an easy to read list of all parts you need.
If you check boxes for multiple projects it will give you totals for everything.
I have built in 40 PPCB builds complete with Tayda enclosures, drilling, UV printing and most pricing and suppliers.
You could add in vero board projects (or other pcb vendors' boards) if you wanted. ( I personally love the boards that @Robert does)

Of course this is a work in progress and I will be adding to it and making tweaks as I can.

There is a small instruction sheet included but let me know if you have questions. Enjoy

Fellow spreadsheet nerd here, this is super cool! Definitely stealing a few of these ideas.

Mine’s kinda similar but not nearly as fancy. I track components, values, how many I’ve got on hand, total available (on hand minus what’s already allocated) and what’s on order. I set it up that way so if something new comes along, I can bump it to the front of the line. If the available number drops below a certain point, it goes red.

I really like your ordering setup though… I’ve gotta figure out a way to do that so I’m not scrolling through 400 lines hunting for red cells one by one.

Thanks for sharing this!

Very cool! Initially I had an inventory built into mine but truth be told I don't worry to much about what I have on hand. I will do a quick glance for certain components like IC's or pots but that is after I have my order list. Then I cross things off that I won't need. I am not very fluent in spreadsheet so I used AI to help me build this up. There are a few shortcomings that I will try to fix as I use it more.
Maybe what I need to do is add my inventory to this and make it so I can cross reference inventory with Project parts to find out what I can build with what I have!
Thanks for the reply!

The biggest thing for the inventory is I can sum it all and know I own like 10,000 components. Makes me feel cool.
