Built a Paragon Mini with BA282 and 1S1588 diodes, "warm" mods, high gain right side low gain red side! I'm a little mad at myself for spending nearly forty bucks on "mojo" diodes, but uhh... well I did.
That said, the pedal sounds really good! I have not played a "real" KoT to compare too but I am certainly enjoying it. I'm still playing around with things but my favorite sound so far is the high gain right side in overdrive mode into the low gain left side in boost mode with it's gain set to max. I do a lot of dirt pedal stacking so it's important to me that it be stack-friendly, which I'd say it is. My Barbershop and Simulcast sound good stacked into it.
The low gain left side in boost mode with gain at max is pretty comparable tonally to my EAE Citadel the way that I have it set. The Citadel has been my last-in-line dirt pedal for a while and the Paragon Mini might replace it.
