So I have this belt that's been a favorite, for probably a decade now. The company is defunct, and their buckle style is copied, but it's h*ckin awful overall.
I'm wondering if anyone has connections which could repair it for me. It's not standard synthetic webbing material: it looks like it from the outward-facing side, but it has these ribbed sort of sections on the inside, which help it flex nicely. The clones today have webbing ill-suited to be used in a belt, and feels like it's damaging my trousers' waistband every time I'm threading it through the loops. I tried a local tailoring place that has heavier-duty machines, but said they couldn't do anything.
The buckle is fine, the more pointed edges now smoothed down after wearing by the belt the first time. Might have to fold it over as little as possible to keep its size in the same range.
