Since I've been revisiting unfinished builds of late, I decided finally to rock and box one of Barry's (GPCB) ratt deluxes. On my to-do list for ages...

A fairly simple build with no huge problems encountered. Ratty-sounding as one might expect...

So here's the rattus rattus with various combinations of diodes to add flavour to the dish.

Interesting components and board mounting! Do those can style LED's sound different? And what are those diodes? 914's?

Thanks, Mike. I didn't really experiment overmuch with the LEDs TBH. I was content to see them lighting up and left it there. Confirming those are indeed 914s in a packaging I've not seen before, as ordered from a local supplier.
