Hi Everyone,
Any help here would be appreciated.
I have just built a PCB I laid out myself in Diptrace. The effect sounds amazing but the relay bypass is being weird. I am using coda effects switching design and code. When the LED is off, the circuit in in its on state and when the LED is on, the circuit is bypassed. I tried changing the code to make the LED change state happen when the circuit is on to change the LED to match, but this hasn't worked. I have also been having some trouble with the pickit3.
I pulled a microcontroller from another effect that is working well, but that made no difference. I thought that the relay layout below is showing when the pedal is in its active state - am I wrong in assuming this?
This is the schematic:
This is the board layout in Diptrace. The PCB was populated by JLCPCB.
This is from the coda bypass article. I have set out my relay switching different to this but similar to Chucks simple relay bypass where the input of the circuit is grounded when the effect is bypassed.
Can you see any obvious issues that I'm missing?
Should I spend more time trying to change to code to bodge it to make it work?
Thanks all!!
