Repurposing a Line6 Pedal Board

I found this thing in a closet, and forgot the last bit of Line6 gear got sold over a decade ago.

Any idea if it can be used in some other application? Arduino or Pi used to control something else useful? Useful parts?

My memory is one of the channel switches was wonky.

Got that RJ45 connector out.

Might be able to gut it + use it for midi control with a microprocessor controller.

Dunno the specific ins and outs on how to make that work, but it's probably not too difficult.

Replacing Line6's footswitches for more robust ones is the #1 service offered by modder-companies.

M5, M9, M13

A friend of mine was an early-adopter of Line6 stuff, and he still has an amp with a foot-controller (not sure if it's the same as yours) —
he gets calls from people he doesn't even know asking if he'll sell the foot-controller. People hear through the grapevine he still has the amp and foot-controller and I guess a lot of the foot-controllers for the amp got wrecked, lost or stolen. He could sell it for a pretty penny, but then he'd have the amp still with no way to fully utilise it.

I tried to DIY a footy for my friends line6 spider3. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't. I only tried two different possible schematics but I didn't want to fry his amp taking stabs in the dark. I just wound up making him an Awful Waffle instead.
