Wow what an amazing show! I know it's not everyones cup of tea but the level of playing was very impressive. Julian Lage's playing is so effortless, and the ease in which he switches between playing rhythm and lead blows my mind. Zorn plays I much different vocabulary than what I've heard Lage play before, so I was very impressed how well Lage adapted to Zorn's musical style. Venue was maybe 400 seats, and it was only 2/3 full. Great show!
