Ok so I decided to simulate some frequency response graphs of the tube screamer circuit and and I concluded that the Electrosmash graph is indeed proooobably wrong. A curve similar to the one on Electrosmash gives almost no control in the middle positions. It makes MUCH more sense to use the 4B(W) curve seen in the Taiwan Alpha datasheet.
With this done, I guess my quest for SPICE pot models is complete. But I still wonder if there would be an application for a pot curve like the cyan one from my graph in my previous post...
